2 · Australian Coins: "Numisma" an occasional numismatic magazine, Nos 1 - 10 (Hawthorn Press, issued between March 1961 and September 1968) , the first four issues with original red ribbon ties, the remaining issues staple bound, pp 1 - 167, a largely fine and almost complete set just lacking the final issue vol. 11/12. An extremely scarce publication, dealing with both Australian and international coinage. Ex John Gartner.

3 · Coins & Banknotes: "The Australia Collection" gold plated silver stamp replicas in a presentation case, issued in 1988 to commemorate the Australian Bicentenary, total weighy of replicas 460g+, intial cost was $2400+.

9 · Banknotes - Australia: 2017 Lowe-Fraser $10 with pre-printing paper folds resulting in significant distortions to the images of Gilmore and Paterson and with albino figures '10' on both front and reverse. A most impressive freak printing.

10 · Banknotes - Australia: 1983 (R-88) $2 Johnston/Stone, uncirculated (22), 1985 (R-89) $2 Johnston/Fraser, uncirculated (7), Cat. $600+.

11 · Banknotes - Australia: 1983 (R-89) $2 Johnston/Fraser selection with consecutive runs of 30, 9, 6 & 4 (3), plus 7 pairs and 48 singles, various grades to Unc, majority being higher grades. (119)

12 · Stamp Boxes - Brass: Victorian small hinged stamp box (21x25mm) with Victorian 1d coloured stamp replica design on face, weight 12gr, no markings, some scratches & the colouring mostly worn away on front, hinging in good order, small ring at top.

13 · Stamp Boxes - Brass: c.1890 small stamp box (14x31mm) incorporating a minute spring-loaded letter scale, with weight and rate information on the face, Registration No '102604', weight 9gr, in good condition with the spring balance still accurate, ring for attaching to a fob chain. Rare and highly unusual.

14 · Stamp Boxes - Brass: Victorian large hinged stamp box (50x62mm) in form of a book with 'Stamps' engraved on face, weight 39gr, no markings, some denting and scratches, original colouring from spine has worn away, hinging in excellent order.

15 · Stamp Boxes - Gold: 9ct Edwardian single-size case in the form of a small envelope (26x23mm), engraved initials on front, weight 3.98g, hallmarked, maker not known, minor small dents.

28 · Silver Cases: 20th century sterling silver group comprising [1] small cigarette case, curved shape for waistcoat pocket, double compartment within, intialled 'H.R.Y.' & 'CHRISTMAS'; [2] book match case with machined finish, Birmingham 1929; [3] vesta case, fob ring on side, both lid & case with 1920 Birmingham hallmark; [4] sovereign case, Birmingham 1912, few small dents, with fob chain; generally fair to good condition with clasps/hinging all in working order, total weight 135gr. 29 · Stamp Boxes - Mauchline Ware: Early 1900s fine lacquered box (63x43x35mm) with image of "Bunker Hill Monument" (Boston) on lid, weight 42gr, fine condition with close-fitting lid.

31 · Stamp Boxes: 20th century brass Chinese made stamp box (100x46x31mm) with three sloped compartments, coloured enamel floral design, weight 149gr; also plain bakelite stamp box (81x33x20mm) also with three sloped compartments marked 'Stamps" on the lid in partly-worn gold letttering, weight 23gr; both items in good condition.

32 · Stamp/Coin Wallets: comprising 1888 H.W.Bedford Regent St (London) snakeskin stamp/card wallet with silver corners, in good condition; Birmingham made leather purse, two silver corners and a silver clasp, four internal compartments, minor faults; Russian leather "sovereign" purse with 9 individual coin pouches within, tear at front. 33 · Philatelic Literature & Accessories: Australia: 'What the Royal Philatelic Society of Victoria has to offer you" (Hawthorn Press, c1964), a rare octavo-sized promotional brochure, 12pp, in pristine condition. Extremely rare, and the first example we have handled.
