PAPUA - Postal History: 1933-34 underpaid Panton covers from Port Moresby or Daru each with Caymans Tercentenary 2d added in lieu of postage dues, the Port Moresby cover with Lee Type 102 'TAX' handstamp (Rated D); also inwards New Guinea covers from Kokopo or Namatanai with Tercentenary 1d or 2d added, the former with fine strike of Powell Type 16 (Rated D) & Type 17 datestamps, the latter with Type 77 datestamp (Rated C) and 'T'-in-octagon tax handstamp; all covers with Georgetown backstamps.
