Bain's Canterbury Honour Cap, black and tan velvet, wire embroidered 'CFR' to front panel, additionally embroidered around sides '1907, S.I. 1908, 1909, S.I. 1910, 1911', and with intact tassel to the crown; made by Wallace and Gibson of Wellington, and with name tag endorsed 'T. Bain 7' in ink. (S.I. refers to South Island). Provenance: Charles Leski Auction, 6 November 2008.
