Trench art, the lower section of a brass 18Pr artillery shell casing with various base markings, half of the casing cut away and a swinging carry handle fitted, at the full side two cartridges have been fitted, inside the base is provision for a small flame and this with a crudely made cover; another smaller brass shell casing with various markings on the base and crudely fitted at each side are smaller brass shell casings, the fitting has been done by soldering which is clearly visible. Good -
