1854 Diadems range of forgeries identified as mostly by Spiro Brothers but of a better standard than their Laureates with imperf 5d (5), 6d in an array of shades (16), 8d (7) & 1/- (18), handful of perf values, also an annotated pg of modern facsimiles of unfinished die proofs; then back to their usual crude standard with 5/- coin imperf (20, a blk of 8) and perf (2). Condition variable but generally F-VF most of the imperfs with full margins. Interesting lot. (94).
