Maritime painting, Nairana, oil on card, monogram and title lower margin "W.G." and "Nairana", 36 x 48cm ​ NOTE: The HMS NAIRANA was a passenger ferry built for Huddard & Parker but she was requisitioned by the British Navy at the start of WW1 and subsiquently used as a seaplane carrier. She was then returned to her owners in 1921 and refitted and became a passenger and cargo ship between Tasmania and Melbourne.
