ROYAL ENGINEERS DEPARTMENT Rare Australian pembroke table, blackwood and cedar, circa 1840s, stamped in three places "R.E.D." and with convict broad arrow. This table was most likely made for the Departments headquarters at No.2 DAVEY STREET in Hobart which was completed in the mid 1840s.
