George II English sterling silver covered tankard with circular moulded foot base to a well proportioned body having single reeded rim raised to the lower part. An attractive loop handle with heart shaped terminal to base. Original hinge with looped thumb piece to the circular domed cover. Made by Robert Alwyn Cox of London, circa 1752, 20cm high, 688 grams
