AMPHORA from the ERNST WAHLISS works, Austrian porcelain wall plaque signed with the initials "A.D." almost certainly by DOEBRICK, circa 1907-1908. Doebrick is noted for his designs of farmers and rural scenes in relief. This example however is a much rarer scene of what appears to be a Merovingian leader in battle dress. 47 x 58cm overall
