THE TROPICAL CYCLONE - FIJI, FEBRUARY to MARCH 1931 plus a fine collection of real photo postcards and photographs of FIJI, mainly 1910s-30s, from the estate of a long-term resident who witnessed the tropical cyclone of February 16 to March 3, 1931, during which 225 lives were lost, resulting in the deadliest natural disaster in recorded Fijian history. The collection is the most extensive we have seen, with many examples by Harry Gardiner, the Caine Series, Henry Marks, Brodziak & Co., etc
