THE 1933 SOUTH MELBOURNE PREMIERSHIP MEDAL PRESENTED TO HEC. McKAY Having debuted for the Swans in 1926 and won their Best & Fairest Award the following season, Hector Alexander McKay played at fullback in the club's 1933 Grand Final win. This lot comprises of the official VFL Premiership medal in 15ct gold and blue enamel, engraved verso "SOUTH MELB. F.C. 1933 H. McKAY". Accompanying the rare Premiership Medal is McKay's 9ct gold enamel "STH. MELB. F.C. HON. LIFE MEMBER" fob.
