PRESENTATION "WISDEN'S SPECIAL" CRICKET BALL (1925), leather, cork and twin, mounted with a shield-shaped silver plaque, engraved "AUSTRALIAN XI v THE REST - DEC'R 1925 - Presented by HOYTS LTD TO C. GRIMMETT WINNER OF BOWLING AVERAGE." Played at the Sydney Cricket Ground, 4 - 8 December, 1925, the match pitted an Australian XI led by Bardsley against a Rest of Australia XI led by Collins. The "Rest" won by 156 runs. Grimmett's figures were 2/65 in the 1st innings and 5/91 in the 2nd.
