October 1945: The match between an INDIAN XI (Northern Zone) and an AUSTRALIAN XI (Services) at Lahore, was one of eight first-class matches played in India and known as "Festival Cricket": A souvenir programme printed at The Kapur Art Printing Works, Lahore, with details of the two teams, details of the games previously played between India and England, details of the organizing committee and numerous advertisements. Attractively re-bound preserving the original paper covers.
