FLINDERS STREET STATION rare and iconic time departure double dialled indicator clock, manufactured in Bathgate UK circa 1860. The 47cm dial with applied ivorine plaque "EDMINSTON & O'NEILL ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS & CONTRACTORS CROMWELL BUILDINGS, MELBOURNE". This is the only example known not to have been modernised and to have left the station. The phrase "I'll meet you under the clocks" should be familiar to all Melburnians. 56cm diameter overall, 68cm deep.
