A MAGNIFICENT SOLID GOLD HORSE RACING TROPHY - "BREEDER'S PLATE", S.R.P.T.C., DENILIQUIN, December 1951. A superb classical-style two handled cup in 18ct yellow gold (758gm), awarded to Mrs. A.J. Webb's "BUCKULANA", ridden by jockey K. McMahon, as engraved to the front of the cup. The rear of the cup carries details of other wins from the same stable, between 1928 and 1950. The unusual name of the horse, Buckulana, is based on the local Aboriginal tribe's word for "my lovely one".
