Attractive pagoda hood with central sound fret to the pediment decorated with gilt gesso spires and finials. Break arch dial with applied strike/silent subsidiary, Roman numeral chapter ring, engraved "JOSEPH STEPHENS, LONDON" (active in the last quarter of the 18th century). Eight day time and bell striking movement, 243cm high.
