5 · ICE SKATING: SYDNEY SKATING RINK 1907 "Admission Ticket No.520" gilt metal fob on a linked chain. The Sydney Glaciarium was opened to the public on the afternoon of 25 July 1907 in front of an estimated 2000 spectators. It was the first indoor skating rink in New South Wales. It closed down in 1955.
